Dr. Hemchand Paruchuri

Dr. Hemchand Paruchuri attended medical school in India and completed medical degree in 2003. He subsequently moved to England for his post graduate training. He obtained Membership of Royal College of General Practitioners in 2011.

Over the past 21 years of his practice in the National Health Service (NHS), England he enjoyed working in various specialties which include General Surgery, Urology, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Accident & Emergency, Elderly Medicine, Oncology and Family Medicine.

Since his postgraduate training completion, he worked as full-time family physician in various community clinics including urgent care services in and around area of Leeds, Yorkshire, England. He was awarded “Sessional Clinician of the year in Leeds” in 2021.

He is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC, The College of Family Physicians of Canada and Ridge Meadows Division of Family Practice.

He moved with his family to Maple Ridge in September 2024. He is a proud father to two young daughters and enjoys spending time with family. He also enjoys outdoors, walking, swimming and tennis in his leisure time.
