Dr Richard N. Ogo earned his medical degree in 2007 from University of Port-Harcourt, Nigeria and subsequently completed his post-graduate GP training at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nigeria in 2011. He subsequently practiced full scope family medicine until he moved to Canada with his family in 2015. In 2014, he completed additional training in Maternal and Child Health as well as laparoscopic surgical training in both General Surgery and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr. Ogo has special interest in Geriatrics, Maternal & Child Health as well as mental health. He is a proud father, a good listener, very compassionate, knowledgeable, committed, and hard working. He enjoys playing tennis (Lawn & Table) and listening to music in his leisure time.

Dr. Ogo is a member of the College of Physician’s & Surgeons of British Columbia (CPSBC), College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC), Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada (SOGC), West African College of Surgeons (MWACS) as well as Ridge Meadows of Division of Family Practice (RMDFP).
